Dolce and Gabbana's Fall 2010 product line

With this show the powerhouse designers wanted to get back to basics and reconnect with women shoppers who have felt left out over the the past few years. With the 72 looks that were displayed the designers showed straight black skirts, and a strapless velvet dress worn over a lacy black bra. This year the designers decided not to do a finale with ball gowns but with 69 models storming the runway wearing nothing but a black jacket, over satin panties for some. The show closed with a video of the white-coated women and men tailors that work in Dolce and Gabbana's Milan atelier. This show was very intimate and personal and was instantly able to be seen across the globe thanks to live streaming.

It seems that Dolce and Gabbana have jumped on the "Green movement" by teaming up with the name brand Kartell in 2004 and helping to design a Dolce and Gabbana Mademoiselle Accent Chair. The chair features bold leopard-print silk upholstery seat that is made from polyurethane foam, and a frame made from polycarbonate. Kartell products are known for using a variety of plastic materials and products that are easily recycled.
